Alpine punch

Monday, April 2, 2012 – This is the second time that this has happened to me and I am beginning to wonder if cinnamon is giving me heartburn.

The first time this happened was after drinking super chocolate tea from Davids Tea. Now this time,  it was after drinking alpine punch. I was really looking forward to this tea – it smells like apple pie and tastes really good too! My cup was half full when the heartburn began and stayed with me for a good 24 hours.

For those of you who don’t know what heartburn is, well it is this horrible sensation that burns and is mostly felt in the back of your throat. Sometimes you can feel it all the way down to your stomach. It feels like acid is in your throat. Since I took chemistry in university I knew that a base would neutralize acid, so I drank a glass of milk. That helped a bit…

I almost afraid to have this tea again… that heartburn was really something else! For the moment I have a few other teas that I can drink  like lime gelato!

  1. I wanted to thank you yet again for this amazing web-site you have designed here. It’s full of ideas for those who are definitely interested in this subject, especially this very post. You’re really all absolutely sweet and thoughtful of others plus reading your blog posts is a superb delight if you ask me. And what a generous gift! Ben and I are going to have fun making use of your points in what we should instead do next week. Our list is a mile long and tips might be put to good use.
