Thursday, March 29, 2012 – One of my friend’s had shared the following video on Facebook with a comment – Don’t judge a book by its cover. The moment Jonathan walked onto the stage and the camera panned the audience you could see what people were thinking by the expressions on their faces. And as usual Simon had a remark to make… But when Jonathan started singing you saw the shock on people’s faces. Charlotte is one of Jonathan’s biggest supporter. And Jonathan is a true friend, when Simon commented after the performance that she may end up holding him back, he responded by saying “We came here as a duo and we’ll stay as a duo!”. It takes a very special person to be able to do what he did.
Another act that gave me goosebumps was the all boys choir called “Only Boys Aloud”. It was amazing to see the stage fill up with all the boys and start singing together. There were over 100 boys in the age range of 14 – 19. I hope that they end up in the finals.
