Sunday, February 19, 2012 – If you like to dance, then you will love Zumba. It is an amazing aerobic workout – it really makes you sweat! This is one workout that doesn’t feel like exercise, it is so much fun. You’ll burn all kinds of calories and maybe lose a few pounds too.
Since the move I haven’t had the chance to see if there are any classes in my new neighborhood. In the meantime I do Zumba routines I find on youtube or on my Wii. Zumba for the Wii is pretty good – if you really get into it, it can be a good work out!

If you can salsa, merengue or samba then you already know a bit of Zumba. If you don’t, that’s OK because with a good instructor you will learn how to Zumba in no time. Sometimes your hips will be moving like a belly dancer, sometimes like a hip-hop dancer and you will always be moving. Be prepared to sweat and have fun!
